OPPORTUNITY to serve
Rugby organisations are increasingly operating within diverse communities, creating a need to better understand culture, strengthen connection, and ensure environments reflect the people they serve.
While there was a clear opportunity to celebrate diversity at a club level, there was also a need at an organisational level to build the capability required to support this in a meaningful and sustainable way.
our approach
We worked across both organisational and community levels- building cultural capability through structured training, while supporting clubs to translate this into practical, visible initiatives.
Our focus was on ensuring that cultural understanding didn’t sit in theory, but was embedded into how clubs operate, engage, and create environments of belonging.
What we delivered
Canterbury rugyb football club (CRFU)
Delivery of Tautai 360 – Cultural Intelligence Training
Facilitated workshops to build cultural awareness and understanding
Supported leadership and staff to strengthen engagement with diverse communities
